Come have fun in the Parkland High School Pool and Gymnasium! This program typically runs from mid-January through March on Sundays from 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Specific dates vary depending on Pool & Gym availability (see below for more details). Please check our website and social media pages for any program changes. WE ARE HIRING LIFEGUARDS! This program is for recreational family swimming recreational pick-up basketball at Parkland High School. Organized group activities are not permitted during this time and will be denied access to the pool and gym areas.

Program Details:

• No Pre-Registration, but you must have an Account in our Online Recreation Portal
  • This program is a drop-in program, you do not have to register each week 

•  Parkland School District Residents ONLY

• • To verify residency you MUST have an account in our Online Recreation Portal.
    • Creating an account is easy and it allows you to register for other programs!
• Participants MUST shower  before enter the pool.

  • Sundays from 1:00- 5:00pm
    • January 21st and 28th
    • February 11th and 25th (POOL is no longer available, Only 2 Gymnasiums) 
    • March 17th and 24th 
  • NOTE: We will only be using the Non-Diving Portion of the Pool. 

   

   

  This Program Hires Lifeguards!

  Although we have our 2024 staff, we typically hire 4-5 Certified Lifeguards to run our Swim & Gym Program. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have their First Aid, CPR/AED, and Water Rescue Certifications.
