South Whitehall Township Parks and Recreation Department aims to schedule nature-based programs each year. Some programs are free and others have a minimal fee. All programs require pre-registration as many classes have a maximum number of participants allowed.

 

Fall Family Owl "Hoot Hike" and Animal Presentation

Let’s learn about the awesome world of owls! We will discuss the adaptations and natural history of owl species found in Pennsylvania, and will meet some live education owls. Then we’ll head onto the trail to look for wild owls at Covered Bridge Park.  Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
