About the Summer Movie Series:
Each summer South Whitehall Township Recreation hosts Free Family-friendly Movies which take place in various beautiful SWT Parks. There are often Pre-Movie Activities and Food Trucks in attendance. Pre-Movie activities typically begin at 7:00pm, which is when any food trucks will begin serving as well. The movie begins at Dusk, or when it is dark enough to see the screen. Bring your chairs and blankets, the grass seating is first-come first-serve!

Elemental (PG): POSTPONED to Friday, June 28th at The South Whitehall Township Municipal Building's Community Grass Circle (4444 Walbert Ave., Allentown, PA 18104)
Disney and Pixar’s “Elemental” is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where fire-, water-, land- and air residents live together. Click Here to watch the Trailer.
Join us for the 1st Movie ever shown on our Municipal Building's Community Grass Circle!
- Come early at 6:00pm to to learn about the Township's transportation plan and development of a network for walking, biking, and rolling. Engage with the project team to weigh in on priority routes and potential solutions to improve bicycle and pedestrian mobility.

- Pre-Movie Activities begin at 7:00 PM! Come check-out the vehicles that SWT Public Works and Police use to "Handle the Elements" along with Cetronia Abmulance, and CERT! We will also be joined by our Movie Sponsor KidStrong, and the Parkland Area Library with fun activities and giveaways!
- COME HUNGRY! Food Trucks Grateful Dogs, Slide on By, and Kona Ice begin serving at 7:00pm. It's the perfect summer food!
Wonka (PG): Friday, July 19th at Vistas Park (5320 Clauser Road, Orefield, PA 18069)
This fantasy musical film follows the story of Willy Wonka, the famous but eccentric chocolatier based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel. In particular, it emphasizes his rise to the top. The narrative traces his beginnings as a young adult who started as an employee selling chocolate in a store until he became driven to enter the chocolate industry eventually. Trolls Band Together (PG): Friday, August 16th at Springhouse West Park (5320 Farm Drive, Allentown, PA 18104)
This third installment of the Trolls franchise finds friends Poppy and Branch as a couple. But as they get to know each other more, it is revealed that Branch was a member of the old popular boyband BroZone when he was younger. Not only that, but the group members are his real-life brothers to boot. However, when they disbanded, Branch never saw his boyband brothers again until his brother Floyd is kidnapped.
