The Patrol Division of the South Whitehall Township Police Department is comprised of 28 officers who provide police services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to the residents and visitors of South Whitehall Township. The officers of the Patrol Division are the officers you are most likely to encounter when you call the South Whitehall Township Police Department. These officers are responsible for performing initial investigations, accident investigations, public services, and traffic enforcement. The officers within the Patrol Division are trained in many different areas of law enforcement, with some having specialties in addition to their daily police services. Some of the specialties our officers have include K9 training, accident reconstruction, firearms training, Use of Force Instruction, Drug Recognition Expert, Motor Carrier Enforcement, Municipal Emergency Response Team and De-escalation training.
