The car seat loan program is available to parents and caregivers of young children who can not afford a child safety seat.  Those that participate in the car loan program borrow a new car seat from the South Whitehall Township Police Department, then return the seat when they are done.

If you are interested, please email Sergeant Grozier at jvg@swtpd.org or call him at 610-398-0337.  If you want to see if there is a closer car loan program near your home please go to:

Free Child Safety Seat Inspections

Sergeant Jason Grozier, Officer Eric Norder, and Officer Bethany Adams are Child Safety Seat Technician (CPST) who received training through the National Child Passenger Safety Certification Program in 2015.

By appointment and for residents of South Whitehall Township, one of our CPST's will conduct child safety seat checks where parents, guardians, or caregivers get education and practical assistance with the proper use of child restraint systems and seat belts.

This service is FREE of charge but limited to residents of South Whitehall Township.  To schedule a seat check or inquire about making one, contact Sergeant Grozier by email at jvg@swtpd.org or by calling 610-398-0337.
