The 2024 residential hauler for South Whitehall Township is J.P. Mascaro & Sons.

Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste are picked up once per week. In general, collection starts after 6 AM.  Collection may start as early as 5 AM in the Route 309 corridor and Township-wide during special weather events (check the Township Website News for postings).

J.P. Mascaro requires specific toters for trash and recycling. New township residents must purchase one trash toter and one recycling toter using the toter order form found below. If you are moving to a residence that already has toters that are in good working condition, they may be used instead of purchasing new ones.

One (1) bulk item is permitted per week. It should to be put out on the same day as the trash/recycling pickup.  A Bulk Item Sticker may be purchased if more than one (1) item must be placed out in one week.  The bulk sticker fee is $50.00. It covers a 6x3x3 area and is a one-time use sticker. The sticker may be purchased at the Township Municipal Building.

Please note that if a "FREE" sign is placed on an item, it will not be picked up by J.P. Mascaro.

To report missed pickups or other concerns, please contact J.P. Mascaro at:  (610) 434-2501.
